I’ve been needing a WiFi extender for a while. After doing the research I chose Verizons extender, since I already have Fios. Now I have WiFi on my Patio ! It works fantastic for streaming music and movies ! I highly recommend this router.

Verizon stinks

Was sold this to improve WiFi signal that suddenly deteriorated. It wasn’t compatible with my router ( which Verizon failed to tell me). Then they replaced the router with no further benefit. Spent 3 hours on chat to correct this, only being told that I needed to upgrade my Fios system…… Verizon is just about sales, not customers

Wouldn't connect to the gateway and customer support was no help. It's now been 10 days and am still not able to return the product. I do not suggest Verizon internet in general.

We bought our own router annd extender originally. Verizon said our service kept dropping because it wasn’t their router. So we got their router. Service was no longer reaching the rest of the house AND let dropping. We got their extender. No change. We purchased their largest/best WiFi package (1TB) What’s going on, Verizon?

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

My router is in the basement where the main line comes in. House has coax but not wired for Ethernet. Was able to provide excellent WiFi coverage upstairs by just connecting to the coax line. Avoided running new lines everywhere. I have gigabit plan and get up to 700 Mbs downloads. I am no techie but I think the negative reviews are from people who do not understand basic home networking concepts. Additional advantages are (1) single network name and password. You do not have to roam from network 1 to network 2, (2) Ethernet connections so you can hardwire your WFH docking station for even more robust connection.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I can't really say if the extender is doing its job (making a difference) or not. Need more time configurating. With it, the coverage is 2,000 sq ft + with download speeds hovering between 600-800 mbps on the download and 30 mbps-75 mbps on the upload. Nice for placement right out of the box. With the Waveform kit, i'm hoping for coverage to just peak as bit higher.

Had one connected via coax to the router on opposite sides of the house and Wi-Fi was good but there was a dead zone in the middle of the house so i got a 2nd one. Starting at the router, coax out to a 2-way splitter. Then from the splitter out to the coax port of each respective extender. Needed to update before it rebooted and they work great. Replacing the coax with ethernet soon and extremely excited to see the results as i have the gig-plan. I did adjust the settings to better suit my needs and i recommend others do the same themselves or with tech support. Overall i highly recommend this because when it is PROPERLY set up it works wonders. One flaw, it does Not support 6ghz unlike my Verizon router, I'll survive though. In between generations of tech, wonderous product for current needs.

I have CR1000A that will broadcast 6Ghz. Does the Extender 3200 also broadcast on 6ghz?

Does the passthrough setting need to be turned for the extended to work?

does this e3200 extender needs to be activated by verizon after i've powered it up and installed ethernet cable to the back on my router?

Why does the extender have a name and password on the bottom? Mine is not working well. I was told it was to connect to my home WiFi. Should I try to input the extender’s info?

The E3200 Extender is broadcasting a different name for my Wi-Fi network than the Gateway does. How can I make the network name the same for both? If the extender isn't displaying the same name for your Wi-Fi network as the Gateway does, reboot the extender: Unplug the power cable and then plug it back in. Allow 5 minutes for the extender to reboot and display the same Wi-Fi name as the Gateway. If rebooting doesn't work, refer to the User Guide (PDF*) and use manual pairing.
