Avoid buying this phone! Its junk the phone comes unglued! Samsung phones are junk! My phone is splitting in half because there's a defect with this phone. So beware of this model.

Phone would not connect to service. Took it to the Verizon store and they couldn't get it to connect to cellular service. Not sure whst is meant by certified. Also if you buy on-line and have issues your local store can not do much to help in getting a replacement.
