I’ve been a Verizon customer for years but this is a first. I had purchased a refurbished phone and the phone it self has technical difficulties. Was told by the representative that I would receive a replacement phone by Tuesday. At the end of the day Tuesday still no phone. Called customer service again told I would get a phone by Saturday. It’s Saturday today let’s see what happens. I never experienced this buying refurbished phones from Amazon or eBay. I thought buying from Verizon would probably be better. Sorry to say this.

The battery life was substantially below par. The battery health maximum capacity was only 88% and so needed constant recharging.

I wait to replace my cell phones until they are really on their last legs (darn things are so expensive). On to the iPhone 12. The phone worked out of the box. Shipping packaging was fine but the phone packaging was a bit questionable and the sheet for startup was missing (it was referenced as being in the box). Not a big deal as I had done this before so I went to youtube to do a quick review before performing surgery (placing the SIM card) just to make sure I didn't do anything stupid. Booted up fine and cloned my work phone (the personal phone I was replacing was too old to do that). Battery capacity is 87% which seemed a little low for a "great condition" phone, but is just fine. So far, so good! One thing unrelated to the phone is that I tried to order my otterbox case from Verizon but they didn't carry it for the 12 (Amazon saved the day). I'm a clutz so I Otterbox my phones to protect them from me :).
